What is CCJWSA?
CCJWSA stands for the California Criminal Justice Warrant Services Association. CCJWSA was founded in 1959 and is composed of law enforcement and criminal justice agencies.
What does CCJWSA do?
For 50 years, the mission of CCJWSA has been to enhance, by active effort and support, the cooperation among all city, county, state and federal criminal justice and law enforcement agencies in the matter of issuance, processing and service of warrants and TO provide a common medium of exchange of information by conducting training workshops.

Why information is listed in the CCJWSA directories?
The CCJWSA directory is compiled, updated and published each year and is a valuable tool in the continual dissemination of information regarding issuance and service of warrants. It has law enforcement agency names, addresses, phone numbers, CLETS mnemonics, as well as the type of warrants served and the booking facility.
The Directory also includes District Attorneys, Department of Motor Vehicles, California State Court Codes, California Department of Correction Facilities, State Prisons, and Parole in addition to a host of other information. It has a variety of California and Federal Agencies plus Out of State agencies and Tables. It is a valuable tool that every law enforcement agency can benefit from.

When is the annual training workshop?
The training workshops are held in the spring. The May 2010 Conference will be held at the DoubleTree Suites in Rohnert Park May 12, 13, 14.

What type of training does CCJWSA provide?
CCJWSA provides a forum for essential networking between those attending. The participants then can disseminate the information to their individual agencies. The workshops presented by the association are approved by Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST).
Some topics that are covered include methods for serving warrants, DOJ representation, legal update, and verbal judo just to name a few.
What do I get for my $75.00 annual membership?
Included with your $75.00 membership are two directories. You will also receive discounts on additional directories ($15.00 vs. $25.00) as well as discounted annual conference registration.
